Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia

Dr. Wetzler uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Insomnia. CBT is a psychotherapeutic approach that addresses dysfunctional emotions, maladaptive behaviors and cognitive processes and contents through a number of goal-oriented, explicit systematic procedures. CBT has been shown to improve sleep in 70-80% of people, and to enable many to successfully discontinue the use of sleep medication.
